YQCA Training – DUE JULY 1

The 2022 YQCA training will ONLY be offered online. All animal exhibitors, with the exception of Equine, Cats & Dogs, must complete the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training each year. The training must be complete by July 1.

  • Directions for YQCA training: Please go to yqcaprogram.org to register for the online course.   Use the YQCA chat or email help@yqcaprogram.org  for any assistance you need in creating or signing up in the YQCA system. Please send a copy of the completion certificate via email or USPS mail to the Extension office by July 1, 2022.  Remember, customer support will be provided M-F 10 AM – 6 PM CST. There is also a chat feature and help button available.

Market Animal Additional Educational Experience:

All meat animal exhibitors must attend one education session in addition to the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training every year in order to be eligible to sell their animal(s) at the Buffalo Pepin County Fair. For more details, please review items 2 and 3 in the Buffalo Pepin County Junior Livestock Committee Sale Rules located on the Fair webpage

Remember, Additional Educational Experience google reports must be submitted by July 29, 2022 for market animal exhibitors to be eligible to sell market animals at the Fair.
