4-H

4-H is the nation’s largest youth development and empowerment organization. 4-H programming aims to engage youth in activities to increase their leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. Over 5,600 adult volunteers mentor youth members and help provide a safe, engaging place for youth to take risks, practice their independence and master new skills. Everything is built on the foundation of the 4 H’s: Head, Heart, Hands, Heath.

Buffalo / Pepin County Teen Court

The mission of the Buffalo/Pepin County Teen Court is to join together as a council of  professional and community members to find ways to enhance positive youth and family development in both counties. The Teen Court will serve to modify behavior of youthful, first-time offenders by combining positive peer pressure and involvement within our counties, families, schools, and religious organizations to promote youth development and restorative justice.
